Amazed

Earlier today I got a call from Dylan's family to inform us of the loss of a young family member. I watched Dylan turn all his energy to PJ he wanted to hold her and play with her even more then he normally does, I think it was his way of dealing. When it was time for me to meet his father I told Dylan to lead with his heart, and maybe sit with his family members and pray, offer them any help that they might need. He looked at me with those beautiful blue eyes and said he wished he could do blessings for his family. And that melted my heart. To see this young man who will always be my little boy saying something so powerful and full of love for family members who don't have the same beliefs we do and often times will talk down about ours but he still has so much love and faith that he would want to share that with them.
I am amazed by Dylan and the strength of his faith. I know that my faith grows watching him become stronger. I am filled with so much joy when we go to church and I get to watch him pass sacrament. I know his love of the church will spread to all who are willing to hear his testimony and how it has changed the both of us. He is wonderful I am so proud to be his mom.
