Getting bigger everyday

Presley On Easter. She had LOTS of fun and discovered the joys of JELLY BEANS!

Yesterday Presley and I went to the park. She ran and ran. It was so fun to watch. She LOVES the slide.She calls them whees. LOL

We put her in her pretty Easter dress and created a monster. She will NOT wear anything but dresses or skirts now. Yesterday I got out a cute outfit for her she ran away screaming "no go away now" until I got her her little yellow dress then she said "yes" and laid down to get dressed. I think she gets her stubborn side from Don. LOL!
WE LOVE YOU ALL!

Oh happy day.

March 18, 2006. Our wedding Day. I still smile at the memories I have locked away in my heart from this day. I married my best friend. I became a Cocroft! I know with all my heart that this was a meant to be kind of thing. From the moment I laid eyes on Donald I knew that my heart was meant to be with his. I knew more then all else I wanted to spend lifetimes with him. He can make me laugh like no one else has ever been able to. I love every moment we share. I love everything about him. My heart skips beats when he walks in a room. Since he came into my life I have become a better person, I became the person I always wanted to be. (enough with the mushy lovie stuff don't want to make anyone sick)

Also on March 18, 2006 I was baptised. I was so scared that I wouldn't be "good" enough. I almost changed my mind that day. I almost walked out and hid. Which looking back seems kind of silly. I knew what I felt in my heart was real. I knew then that it was right. I am so glad I didn't run out of there screaming. I have gotten to see my son get baptised, and some friends. I know in my life I will see more baptisms and every single one will make me smile.

What a great day March 18. Two major things happend in my life and both have given me more love and happiness then I ever thought the world had for me.

one of my favorite poems...

Yesterday I Cried
By Iyanla Vanzant
Yesterday, I cried.
I came home, went straight to my room, sat on the edge of my bed,
kicked off my shoes, unhooked my bra,
and I had myself a good cry.
I'm telling you,
I cried until my nose was running all over the silk blouse I
got on sale.
I cried until my ears were hot.
I cried until my head was hurting so bad
that I could hardly see the pile of soiled tissues lying on
the floor at my feet.
I want you to understand,
I had myself a really good cry yesterday.
Yesterday, I cried.
for all the days that I was too busy, or too tired, or too mad
to cry.
I cried for all the days, and all the ways,
and all the times I had dishonoured, disrespected, and disconnected
my Self from myself,
only to have it reflected back to me in the ways others
did to me
the same things I had already done to myself.
I cried for all the things I had given, only to have them stolen;
for all the things I had asked for that had yet to show up;
for all the things I had accomplished, only to give them
away, to people in circumstances,
which left me feeling empty, and battered and plain
old used.
I cried because there really does come a time when the only thing left to do is cry.
Yesterday, I cried.
I cried because little boys get left by their daddies;
and little girls get forgotten by their mommies;
and daddies don’t know what to do, so they leave;
and mommies get left, so they get mad.
I cried because I had a little boy, and because I was a little girl, and
because I was a mommy who didn’t know what to do, and
because I wanted my daddy to be there for me so badly until
I ached.
Yesterday, I cried.
I cried because I hurt, I cried because I was hurt.
I cried because hurt has no place to go
except deeper into the pain that caused it in the first place.
and when it gets there, the hurt wakes you up.
I cried because it was too late. I cried because it was time.
I cried because my soul knew that I didn’t know
that my soul knew everything I needed to know.
I cried a soulful cry yesterday, and it felt so good.
It felt so very, very bad.
In the midst of my crying, I felt my freedom coming,
Because
Yesterday, I cried
With an agenda.

I love this poem...hope you like it too.
